The Albuquerque Quality Network, in partnership with UNM Anderson School of Management offers this engaging and educational program covering various ways quality principles help achieve and sustain quality and performance excellence. Included are quality principles which impact effectiveness of strategic planning and execution, customer engagement, organizational leadership and management, project management, continuous
improvement processes and measures, and use of data and information to bridge organizational and operational/process performance.
Presented by experts at the forefront of the latest developments in their field, each session focuses on the skills necessary for the job and offers practical suggestions for applying these skills in real-world situations.
NEW! Registration is required to initiate participation towards each Certificate Level, per the following requirements:
Level 1 Competency 12 hours/8 sessions
Level 2 Proficiency 24 hours/16 sessions
Level 3 Expertise 36 hours/24 sessions
Level 4 Mastery 48 hours/32 sessions and a possible project (details TBD)
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: If my company is a member of AQN, what do individuals pay for the AQN / UNM Quality Certificate program?
A: $50 per person registering for each certificate program level. Each individual participant must complete a registration form.
Q: What sessions do I need to attend to qualify for the AQN / UNM Certificate?
A: Participation in any 8 sessions (12 hours) is required for each certificate level. Qualifying sessions may include duplicate topics from one year to the next (a change from initial 2015 program communications).
Q: When do I need to pay for the certificate program? Can I wait until I’ve attended 8 sessions?
A: For anyone that registered by April 23, 2015, participation retroactive to January 2015 counts towards Level 1: Competency. After April 23, 2015, anyone registering for a particular certificate level shall be credited for qualifying sessions attended, starting the month of their registration for that level. Those registering for Level 2: Proficiency may register through January 30, 2016 for retroactive credit.
Q: Can I still attend AQN monthly seminars and not participate in the Certificate program?
A: Of course. AQN members may attend monthly for free. Non-members pay a nominal fee.
