Quality Leadership

Thursday, February 16, 2017, Dr. Jackie Hood will be presenting on Quality Leadership.

Leadership is hard. If it were easy, it is doubtful that there would be 80,000 books on the subject sold on Amazon. But what makes a quality leader? While there are key qualities every good leader should possess and there are many pathways to excellent leadership, quality leadership has its own unique requirements. This month’s AQN speakers series is led by Dr. Jacqueline Hood, Endowed Professor from the Anderson School of Management. Dr. Hood will explore the traits of quality leadership and help you discover your personal leadership style.

Dr. Jacqueline Hood is a Professor in the Department of Organizational Studies with the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Hood earned her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, College of Business Administration; her MBA from Northern Illinois University, College of Business; and her BA in Sociology and Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Hood’s areas of expertise include team development and management, communication and conflict management, diversity issues, leadership and executive coaching, organizational needs assessment, and organizational culture change management.
