Event Schedule:
- 4pm- 5pm – Speed networking with CNM, CNM Ingenuity and UNM students / Potential Employees
- 5pm-5:30pm – Employer Recruitment Tables
- 5:30pm-6pm – Employer Feedback Session
Premise:
This ‘Speed Networking Event focuses on careers and/or job opportunities in Quality, especially entry-level careers/jobs. Some examples of jobs are:
- Process Management
- Project Management
- Process Improvement
- Quality Control
- Lean or Six Sigma
The World Quality Event starts with the Speed Networking: will be table set up for each company. During the Speed-Networking portion of the event, please be prepared to deliver a 2-3 minute demonstration or presentation describing the types of Quality careers and jobs at your company. Then the participants will have ~ 3 minutes for questions. In ~ 5-minute intervals, participants will go from table to table to learn about your company’s jobs and careers.
After the ‘speed-networking’ sessions, the participant will have an opportunity to meet the companies in the lobby to learn more about specific jobs and/or careers that are available.
Then for the Employer Feedback Session, we will ask that the companies join us in a discussion regarding the type of courses that potential employees need to complete for the types of careers and jobs you have. We want to create Career Pathways for CNM, CNMI, and UNM students.
