Could a restaurant company make the world a better place? At M’tucci’s, our founder’s vision to become the Education Restaurant Company of New Mexico began with simple investments in our people and culture, and gradually grew to encompass a public and in-house educational program that became a nonprofit in 2025, M’tutoring.

Howie joined the M’tucci’s restaurant family following nine years as Senior Community Director and Marketing Director for Yelp Albuquerque. As Minister of Culture, Howie is M’tucci’s point person for community engagement, media outreach, and business partnerships. He is originally from Minneapolis. He moved to Albuquerque to study theatre, eventually earning a Masters of Dramatic Writing degree from the University of New Mexico. He is the married father of two amazing young women.
