Thursday, February 15th: Dr. Marcey Hoover, Sandia National Labs. Sandia National Laboratories delivers products with the highest safety, security, and reliability. This presentation will provide an overview of Sandia’s quality assurance challenge and explore the risks that are introduced within competency and people dependent quality assurance models. Dr. Hoover will demonstrate how a quality organization can help mitigate risks by driving changes in hiring, training and customer engagement models.
Dr. Marcey Hoover is the Director of Quality Assurance at Sandia National Laboratories. She began her career at Sandia in 1995 as a member of the technical staff and has since held diverse leadership positions. Dr. Hoover received her bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Michigan State University, and her master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees in mathematical statistics from Purdue University.
