UNM Medical Group Lobo Quality Improvement Process (LQIP) Team
Thursday, March 28: Jeff Weinrach, PhD, of the UNM Medical Group Lobo Quality Improvement Process (LQIP) Team, will guide a hands-on workshop looking at two quality tools used well in tandem – brain-writing and bubble-sorting – to facilitate the identification and prioritizing of process improvement solutions including innovation. These tools have been around for quite a while, but they still produce results.
Dr. Jeff Weinrach recently started as a Senior Process Improvement Project Manager with the UNM Medical Group serving UNM Hospital and the entire UNM Health Sciences Center, which also include Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho, the UNM Cancer Center, and the School of Medicine. He also serves as a Quality Mentor for LifeROOTS. Before serving in these roles, Jeff was involved for many years at Quality New Mexico primarily as the Director of the New Mexico Performance Excellence (previously “Quality”) Awards as well as the Quality Coordinator at Kirtland Federal Credit Union. Jeff has over 30 years in the quality business including in the areas of environmental management, sustainable development, and quality management systems.
