Ron Darnell is Senior Vice President Public Policy for PNM Resources. He leads the company’s regulatory administration, tribal and government affairs, corporate communications, pricing, community relations and stakeholder engagement. Ron joined PNM in 2008 from Colorado’s Xcel Energy, where he was Director of Regulatory Administration South. Ron has an extensive energy industry expertise and has served on the committees with the Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association, and Demand Response Coordinating Council. Ron sits on the board of Albuquerque Economic Development, which is dedicated to recruiting new industries and helping local companies grow to generate quality job opportunities for the Albuquerque metro area.
