Presented by Krista Smith

In this presentation, Krista will share the tools and models that have shaped how she thinks about leading organizations as well as the marvelous and poignant leadership and life truths she has learned along the way.

Krista’s Biography:

As Sandia National Laboratories’ Director for Facilities Program Integration, Strategic and Capital Acquisition Investment Planning, Krista is responsible for long-range facilities and congressional line-item program strategy and portfolio management. Krista was previously the Director of Project and Product Management at Sandia, a center she established to ensure Sandia’s ongoing commitment to project management maturity across a $4B+ annual portfolio. Additionally, she has held many different roles since joining Sandia in 2004 including Director of Program, Planning & Control Standards, and three Senior Manager roles – the Corporate Project Management Office, Procurement, and Supply Chain Integration.

Prior to Sandia, Krista was the Operations Manager for a branch of an international engineering firm, and a program coordinator at the University of New Mexico School of Health Sciences. Krista holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of New Mexico, a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas Christian University, and is certified in Project Management (PMP) and Supply Management (CPSM). She is also a certified teacher for David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” productivity methodology.
