Krista’s Biography:
As Sandia National Laboratories’ Director for Facilities Program Integration, Strategic and Capital Acquisition Investment Planning, Krista is responsible for long-range facilities and congressional line-item program strategy and portfolio management. Krista was previously the Director of Project and Product Management at Sandia, a center she established to ensure Sandia’s ongoing commitment to project management maturity across a $4B+ annual portfolio. Additionally, she has held many different roles since joining Sandia in 2004 including Director of Program, Planning & Control Standards, and three Senior Manager roles – the Corporate Project Management Office, Procurement, and Supply Chain Integration.
Prior to Sandia, Krista was the Operations Manager for a branch of an international engineering firm, and a program coordinator at the University of New Mexico School of Health Sciences. Krista holds an MBA in Operations Management from the University of New Mexico, a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas Christian University, and is certified in Project Management (PMP) and Supply Management (CPSM). She is also a certified teacher for David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” productivity methodology.
