AQN’s Annual Meeting will be held on February 17, 2022 via Zoom. Immediately following the Annual Meeting, AQN Chair Randy Simons will present the monthly learning seminar on benchmarking.

Mr. Simons will introduce you to the basics of benchmarking including the basic process steps, selection of peer groups, and the four typical perspectives of comparison.  To reinforce learnings, he will walk through a real-life example of how to apply these benchmarking techniques and discuss the results of each analysis.

Benchmarking is the strategic management process of comparing one’s organization’s processes and performance metrics to industry bests or best practices from other industries.  Results of these comparisons allow organizations to develop plans on how to make improvements or adapt specific best practices with the aim of increasing some aspect of performance.
