Michelle began a new, exciting journey in June 2021 accepting a Sr. Program Manager position with CNM Ingenuity. This new position focuses on growing entrepreneurship and small business economic development in New Mexico. Michelle is overseeing the continued development and evolution of ActivateNM, as well as other career development programs.

Previously Michelle worked as the Director of Professional Development programs with the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management for about 3.5 years. As a manager for over 20 years, mostly with Xerox Corporation, Michelle encompasses a background of teambuilding, program development, and quality improvement guidance.

Michelle completed the Greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma and served as an Operational Excellence Assessor providing guidance and assessing quality certifications for Xerox accounts.

Michelle’s most valued title is ‘Bamma’ bestowed upon her by her grandson, Zander, and now shared with the newest member, grandson Revan. Cycling, traveling, and visiting her ‘kids’ are among her favorite things.
